Joseph J. Odierno

Joseph J. Odierno is the founding partner of The Odierno Law Firm. He was born in Bronx, New York in 1941 and has lived in Long Island since 1973. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Villanova University in 1962, and graduated from New York Law School in 1965. Joseph is admitted to practice in all the Courts of New York State.

After practicing personal injury law in Manhattan and Queens for over thirteen years, Joseph established the Melville, Long Island office of Capell, Vishnick and Odierno in 1978.  He practiced with that firm until 1990, when he founded The Odierno Law Firm. His practice is concentrated in personal injury, real estate, and wills and estates.

Over the course of his forty-five years in personal injury practice, Joseph has successfully resolved or tried thousands of matters in all areas of personal injury law. Currently, Joseph is the managing partner, and oversees all aspects of personal injury cases from inception to resolution or trial.

Scott F. Odierno

Scott F. Odierno was born in Bronx, New York, in 1967, and moved to Long Island in1973. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Medieval and Renaissance History from Brown University in 1989. At Brown, Scott was captain of the Baseball team and a First Team All-Ivy catcher. Scott joined The Odierno Law Firm upon graduating from New York Law School in 1992. His practice is concentrated in two fields: Personal Injury and No-Fault litigation. He is admitted to practice in Federal Court in both the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York in addition to all New York State Courts.

Scott is a partner in The Odierno Law Firm and his practice includes all manner of personal injury representation, from intake to trial. He has successfully resolved or tried cases in every major area of personal injury practice, including motor vehicle and truck accidents, labor law and scaffolding injuries, premises falls and lack of security cases. Scott oversees all motion and appellate practice in the personal injury department. In 2003 Scott engineered the firm's no-fault litigation department, which has successfully represented over six hundred medical providers in obtaining no-fault benefits prematurely denied by insurance companies.

Lee J. Odierno

Lee J. Odierno was born in Melville, Long Island in 1977. He obtained a Bachelor Arts Degree in Military History from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2000. In 2003, Lee graduated from New York Law School and was subsequently admitted to practice in the State of New York. After admission, Lee joined The Odierno Law Firm's no-fault Litigation department.

Lee has conducted over six-hundred successful no-fault trials in all major areas of no-fault litigation including post denial treatment, peer review denials, coverage issues, partial payments, EUO denials and provider fraud. He is the managing attorney in the no-fault department and is responsible for all legal aspects of the no-fault department, from client acquisition and retention to motion practice to trial strategy. Lee is also responsible for allocating all resources and manpower within the department in furtherance of the legal strategy.  

Paul A. Bargellini

Paul A. Bargellini, was born in Florence, Italy in 1974. He obtained Bachelor of Arts Degrees in both History and Italian from the University of Delaware in 1998. In 2002, Paul graduated from Hofstra University Law School. Paul worked for the Law Offices of Christopher Jeffrey, L.L.P. where he focused on litigating subrogation claims. Subsequently, Paul worked as in-house counsel for the Robert Plan, and then as staff counsel in the no-fault litigation department of Travelers Insurance Company.

Paul joined The Odierno Law Firm's no-fault litigation department in 2006, and since then has appeared in every civil court in the City of New York and in every district court on Long Island. As lead trial counsel in the no-fault department Paul has obtained plaintiff's verdicts in over five hundred trials and is responsible for settling over five thousand cases during his time with the firm.  

Michael A. Spector

Michael A. Spector, was born Mineola, New York in 1977. He obtained a Bachelor Arts Degree in Marine Affairs with minors in Economics and Chemistry from the University of Miami in 1998. In 2003, Michael graduated from Hofstra University Law School. Michael worked at Tell, Cheser & Breitbart LLP as outside counsel for several insurance companies. Michael has also worked in-house at The Robert Plan and as staff counsel, then trial counsel in the no-fault litigation department of Travelers Insurance Company.

Michael joined the no-fault litigation department in 2007, and since then has appeared in every civil court in the City of New York and in every district court on Long Island. Michael has obtained plaintiff's verdicts in over four hundred trials and is responsible for settling over three thousand cases during his time with the firm. In addition to his trial counsel responsibilities Michael is lead counsel on all AAA arbitration and motion-calendar matters.

Russell D. Mauro

Russell D. Mauro was born in 1962, in Brooklyn New York.  He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Med Studies from Long Island University C.W. Post campus in 1984. In 1988, he graduated from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Russell is admitted to practice in the State of New York and then to Federal Court in the Eastern District of New York. Russell worked as trial counsel for various firms concentrating in personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, tractor trailer accidents, labor law and scaffolding cases, premises injuries and other complex litigation. Russell has resolved or tried thousands of cases against private, corporate and municipal defendants. He has also successfully argued cases before the Appellate Division Second Department.

Russell is a mediator for the Nassau County Supreme Court Trial Assignment Part and an active member of the Fraternal Order of Police where he was Chief Legal Counsel for Memorial Lodge 100. He has also performed risk management quality control reviews for numerous corporations.
