Russell D. Mauro
Bio
Russell D. Mauro was born in 1962, in Brooklyn New York. He obtained a Bachelor Arts degree with a concentration in pre-medical studies from Long Island University C.W. Post campus in 1984. In 1988, he graduated from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Russell is admitted to practice in the State of New York and then to Federal Court in the Eastern District of New York. Russell worked as trial counsel for various firms concentrating in personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, tractor-trailer accidents, labor law, scaffolding accident injuries, premises injuries, and other complex litigation. Russell has resolved or tried thousands of cases against private, corporate and municipal defendants. He has also successfully argued cases before the Appellate Division Second Department.
Russell is a mediator for the Nassau County Supreme Court Trial Assignment Part and an active member of the Fraternal Order of Police where he was Chief Legal Counsel for Memorial Lodge 100. He has also performed risk management quality control reviews for numerous corporations.
