Plaintiff is a 58 year old women who tripped and fell at a Restaurant/Bar on Long Island. This particular premises is located within the Town of Huntington in the County of Suffolk. Plaintiff was caused to trip over a rug that was peeling off of its joinder with the dance floor thereby creating a dangerous tripping hazard. As a result of her fall plaintiff sustained a comminuted intra-articular impaction fracture of the distal radius of the left wrist requiring an open reduction and internal fixation of the left distal radius with implant of Synthes stainless steel volar locking plate with screws.
