Deportation

DACA
Those who have DACA are also known as “DREAMERS” . Under this status, the person is eligible to go to work, learn in school, get a driver’s license, and a Social Security number. DACA requires renewal every two years, and the renewal process should start 180 days before the expiration date of the current status and it is recommended to apply to renew no later than 120 days before expires.
At this time no new applicants can be processed but may still be worth filing an application, so that the application is in the system and pending and waiting for a legal pathway for new applicants, having some of the paperwork done already can save time.
Parole in Place
Parole in place allows a person who came into the United States without authorization by an immigration officer to stay for a certain period of time. Parole in place can be obtain for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit.
U-VISA
The U-visa was created to provide immigration status to who have suffered mental or physical abuse and are helpful to law enforcement or government officials in the investigation or prosecution of criminal activity.
Naturalization
To apply for U.S. citizenship, you need to prove that you are living in the U.S. with a valid Green Card for at least five years (there are some exceptions for asylees, for people married to U.S. citizens, and for people who have spent time outside of the United States). The application for naturalization must be process correctly or your immigration situation could be scrutinized by the government.
Petition
A petition is a way to obtain a green card. US citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents can sponsor a family member with such a petition. Immediate family members, including children under 21 and spouses of US citizens, do not have to wait for a visa. They are instantly eligible for a green card or visa in the United States. The unmarried children over age 21 of US citizens get priority on visa waitlists
